How Kalba is made

Five organic ingredients are blended into ground coffee that you brew in your own machine.

What's in the bag

Kalba contains five organic ingredients.

Medium-roast Arabica coffee is blended with organic-certified black seed from India, Lion's Mane, Chaga and Turkey Tail. Lion's Mane is a white mushroom named for its long, shaggy spines. Chaga is a dark mushroom that grows on birch trees. Turkey Tail is named for its striped, fan-shaped cap. Black seed is organic-certified black seed from India, which naturally contains thymoquinone.

There is no creamer, sweetener or flavoring.

02Blending

How it is made

The blend starts with medium-roast ground Arabica.

Lion's Mane, Chaga, Turkey Tail and organic-certified black seed from India are blended into the ground coffee. Kalba stays as grounds until you brew it.

03Brewing

How you brew it

Use the coffee maker you already know.

Use your usual amount of Kalba Ground Coffee in a drip machine or French press. Choose Kalba Coffee Pods for a Keurig-style machine.

04Ground and instant

How it compares with instant powder

A factory has already brewed instant coffee.

Instant coffee is brewed in a factory and dried into a powder that you stir or froth into water. Kalba stays as ground beans, so you brew it in your own machine. Brewed, not stirred.
